Meet the Team - Leanne

Leanne is our Operations and Key account Manager the go-to person at D-tox for anything! From dealing with staffing issues, chasing new business leads arranging quotes for customers there’s nothing she doesn’t get involved in.

Having worked for D-tox for over a decade, there’s very little Leanne doesn’t know about how we operate. She explained:

“I oversee all of the daily operations of the business, including the hire desk, routing, sales,  transport and drivers including recruitment along side my colleagues. I also go out on the road and visit our existing customers on a regular basis as well as seeking out new business. I’m pretty chatty when I go and see anyone, and I like to put names to faces of the customers that we speak to on a regular basis”.

Leanne’s idea of a good day at work is when there are no issues with staff, vehicles or freezing weather conditions, which can make a big impact on any sanitation related job that involves liquids turning to solids! After a busy day at the office or out on the road, Leanne loves to go home and relax.  She likes nothing better than to chillout with her ipad, or catch up with her family. The latter usually involves a curry (minus lemon grass which she can’t stand) and cheesecake...or both.

Shedding light on what it’s like to work for the D-tox team Leanne said:

“My thoughts and opinions are taken in to consideration and I enjoy being one of the decision makers within our team. Working for D-tox is, and always has been, a family felt place to work and ever since I started I’ve felt like part of the family and not just a number. I LOVE IT! ”.
